Rattling noise after letting go of the gas pedal?

So basically, when I start my car in the morning, let it warm up and I drive off, the moment I release the gas, you hear a rattling for about a second, then it stops, if I give it gas, then it rattles and I give it gas again, the rattling stop, but it rattles again once I let go off the gas, this only happens when the car starts up in the morning, any ideas? thanks. Now that I think of it, its the sound a screw knocker would make, just not as loud, its kinda faint..

VTC springs. Search TwinTurbo.NET for "VTC Rattle" and you should get lots of answers.

I'm in a good mood... here's your fish.

"Upon initial cranking there was the disctinctive rattle coming from the top end of the engine at the intake cam sprockets which subsided a bit as the engine warmed up."

You could've searched here, too... I went down to the 12th post in this forum to pull up this link because I had used it in that thread, too. I suggest learning how to search in the future - it's a valuable tool and will save you LOADS of time.
