Radiator Question

I have a 93 N/A and the neck on the top of the radiator has broke where the hose clamps on. Does anyone know if i can get the plastic part of the radiator replaced at a radiator shopp or do i have to buy a new one? Where can i find an affordable radiator? Thanks People

Hmm, i really wouldnt go through to much trouble to get your radiator fixed. It would prob be worth in the long run to get a new one, or a used one from someone else. I baught a used one and only paid like $70. If your lookin to do upgrades in the future now might be a good time to get an aftermarket rad.

Agreed, I’d just check out a local import dismantler and see what they can come up w/. I dont mean a Pick and Pull, you probably wont find what your looking for at one of those unless you're extremely lucky and actually find a Z in one of those scrap yards.

I wouldnt waste ur time trying to get it rebuilt. My neck on my NA radiator broke in the exact same spot as yours did. I tried to have it rebuilt, but the shops I took it too said they couldnt because the end tanks cannot be gotten from Nissan anymore. The radiators are only sold as a complete unit. I would just pick up a factory unit..uograded units arent really needed unless u opt to run an electric fan. If u do, U might want to consider an larger radiator since electric fans are not as powerful as the mechanical ones. Z1 has two versions of the NA radiator to choose from. One larger than the other.
