Need help w/ car idling @ 2100rpm...
My girl has a '91 300zx AT N/A and is idling high a lot, it idles at 2100rpm at times and sometimes it won't change gear until 4000rpm. I drove her car and when I let off my foot from the gas pedal, it stays on the same speed 
. My guess is it could be the gas pedal linkage. The car also vibrates pretty hard on idle. I asked my cousin and he said that it could be one of the vacuum hoses, but he doesn't know where the leak is. I'm not a mechanic either so I have no idea what to do. Has this ever happened to anyone here? is this a common problem? need help....the car has been sitting for about a week now...please help!

yep, vacuum leak.
You'll have to track down all the hoses and tighten them down.
