Idling Problems

i have an '86 and lately the Idle has been dropping lower than normal, im not sure what the problem is. I changed the Spark plug cables this passed weekend, im almost possitive they are all on correctly, but the idle is below one, where as its supposed to be over 1. Any ideas on what to look for or tinker with

when i put it in neutral (its a manual) the RPMs normalls were about 1,100, now they they go to about 900-1000 for about a min or so then drop down to somewhere in the range of 500-700

stock RPM is supposed to be about 650 for manual transmission Z31s. There should be a sticker on the underside of your hood showing stock timing and idle speed.
