NA > TT Head Spacer?

NA > TT Head Spacer?
I'm looking to do a TT conversion without swapping the actual engine. Im wondering if there is any feasible way to drop the compression without swapping out the pistons. Maybe something like a thicker head gasket or head spacer? What kind of compression drop will I get from a thicker head gasket? I have 90K on the engine, trying to avoid pulling it apart.

No no no...go ahead and do it so you can put the NA to rest forever. Let me know when you blow it up. What are you thinking???? Don't want to pull it apart? What do you think is left after you pull the heads off? Not a heck of a lot so you are already there. You need a thicker helmet the next time you land on your head.

advice well taken. thanks for the information everybody. and yes aphrodite, if i wanted to read that faq for the thousandth time after posting a more specific question regarding how to solve the compression ratio problem most likely already mentioned in that faq, you would have been of help too.
