making 1990 300zx to TT

making 1990 300zx to TT

i have a n/a engine in my car and i want to TT it and i know that you need a turbo kit, pipes, intercooler,BOV,ecu,injectors, rad,and exhaust manifolds. what else would u need to complete a conversion??

i think it would be best if you just got yourself a front clip, that way you're sure that you've got everything to complete the conversion, and ill be doing this as well ^.^

You need a vg30dett You can't just turbo your n/a like you would a civic. Best thing is to get a Front clip like Seraphic was saying and start from there

Yeah thats a pretty good idea, u wouldnt even have to say much. Just "if you're doing NA to TT conversion get a front clip".

so are the engines from an n/a and a TT totally configured differently?, like what other parts would it need or its all the wiring involved?

there are alot of simularities between the two..but then again there are alot of differences too. One of the biggest is the compression ratios between the two. Another would be the oiling systems..the N/A lacks things that the TT engines has.
You could techinaclly rebuild a NA block to TT standards..but u are asking for alot of headcahes. You would be better off just buying a clip. Z1 has a write for the NA to TT swaps

Of yeah..and just as a forwarning. Alot of Guys are gonna just respond sating u should just sell it and buy a TT car. Dont get discouraged though.

thnx alot whtfariladyz. ye i might just buy a clip, but im also thinking of keep the N/A engine. or rebuild it and make it a MACHINE!!!
