LED Tail lamp lens? Can it be done?
Does anyone know where I can get LED Tail Lights for a 95 TT?
Can one make such a thing?
I bought the little LED light(cluster) from Circuit City(SF Bay Area) and it was not even as bright as the stock bulbs. That's because it is mounted behind the red tail lamp plastic lens.
What I need is the whole lens assembly to be long strings of the actual LED bulbs. Just like a factory BMW Z8, or whatever car makes them stock.
Any ideas?

I remember having seen a company on the web that makes 300z custom LED taillights....
You had to send in your original lights and they would do the conversion. I also remember that the reflector parts were removed in that process. The whole thing still cost like $800 or $900....nuts.
