i was told on facebook tech help group that it was not a engine knock., I heard a couple people say something about vtc, any one know what is knocking and what this vtc thing is , I'll post a video below

Def not a healthy sound. But it's loud.

Hard to tell the source from your vid, so have you done any other tests or inspections (compression, plugs, injectors, spark, fluid leaks, etc.. What does your ECU diagnosis tell you)?

Maybe if you can give the Z32 guys here some more info, they can help you zero in on the cause. Could be any number of problems.. or only one

OK, but be patient here. Our Z32 guys show up eventually (not every day) and will give you some good input. (I'm a Z31 guy and we still have to kick-start our Zs, except if we added electronic ignition.)

What else have you checked for?

Obviously you have to fix this before you roll again. Hope it's not a big deal for you... Sit tight!
