Knock sensor

Does anyone know where the knock sensor is on an 87 turbo W series? I've heard its on the RH head behind the motor mount or under the intake in the valley. I've searched but didnt find anything, and I dont have a Haynes yet.

You have two Z31s and you don't have a Haynes manual yet? And it's not in the head. It's in the block. But it is on the right side of the motor.

I haven't needed a Haynes. My chiltons would answer my questions, but i don't think it said where the KS was. Thanks for the help.

The Chiltons manual is crap. It's only useful as a paperweight or door stop. And in a pinch, you can use it for toilet paper.
