hooting sound...
I just bought a 90 TT, it has a modified axhaust along with intake and stage 3 chip upgrades. The turbos put out about 13psi @ full throttle. The only problem with the car is that if I accelerate slowly, I hear this "hooting" sound when the boost needle is at 0psi or thereabouts, if I punch it or step off the throttle, the sounds goes away. This happens on all gears and at any speed. I tried to look for the problem but have been unsuccesful thus far. Any suggestions on what could cause this? Is it normal? Thanks. Fredo.
if it sounds like this: http://www.streetneeds.com/uploads/v...Picture070.MOV , it's goosehonk. Completely normal.

Welcome to the world of the Z32TT sounds. You might also smell burnt rubber and your view in your rearview mirror is nothing but a cloud of smoke, this is normal also. People behind you hate it. They can't see anything but your smoke. Hehehe
Thanks guys... I was a little worried about the noise, I'm glad is nothing. This weekend I went driving on HW 9 in Boulder Creek, California (little one-lane windy road) and I can't believe the handling on this car! Never had a better ride... Fredo.
