Wheel Hops?

How do you guys get rid of the wheel hop on your 300zxTT? I still have the Hicas system and I am getting rid of it. What is the main reason of the Z's wheel hops? Will a good rear susupension setup get rid of it? Any sugesstion?

Sub-frame spacers help.......... Shocks with stiffer damping and I believe some places actually make traction barz-for-r-carz.

it is because your rear subframe floats for about an inch before it reacts to anything. putting in subframe spacers will eliminate that floating and will also cure wheel hop. you can get them here splparts

our cars were designed with some type on "anti-squat" thing, so yeah they don't launch...

There's a lot of compliance built into the car to make it smoother and quieter. One of the many results is wheel hop. Depending on how deep your pockets are and how much firmness and noise you are willing to tolerate, you can get rid of it.

here is a good resource that talks about the application of the SPL parts.
