Help I can’t idle or else it shuts off (1990 z32)

Almost every time I stop and at a stop sign or red light it will shut of unless I keep the rpm above 1000

Could the nut(s) which hold the throttle cable in place come loose?

I just took it to the shop and it was that the idle control valve was corroded and stuck on closed. Thank you for your idea I did tighten the nuts.
