A buddy of my son was looking at a 1990 N/A. Seems like I have read that there were a lot of problems with that year. I told him i would post his question for the Z32 crowd. He found one - the asking price is $ 3800, 85K miles, but he thinks he can get him below 3K It, for one thing - needs a passenger mirror.

What are the problems with the Z32 1990 models?

there were problems with the valves on some 1990 models. NA's with engine numbers below 777599 may be subject to this problem.

no flame arrestors in the pcv hoses, not a huge problem, but something I didnt know until last week

wow, best answer to a question i've seen in a while.

Hmmmm .... let's see.

* PTU sub harness (not just 90's but a lot of the 1st year Z's, 90-93 I believe had them

* Soft valves

* TT's had that wack *** overflow tank that covers the intercoolers.

* The original weak sauce PTU, that eventually got recalled out.

That's about all I can think of right now.
