a few questions
i decided to pull my plugs to check for any problems today, and i found out they were PFR5B-11B(stock PFR6B-11C). why would someone want to run a warmer plug? they didnt look too bad tho. 2 of them had a little residue on them, but that was about it. but im scared to boost at all now.
also, i found a little oil residue from the turbo to intercooler pipe. i origionally had just a valve cover oil leak, but do i now have a turbo seal problem?

You prolly won't have any problems with the hotter plug unless you're boosting really high. Either way, if you don't know how old they are, it's time to replace them anyway.
The oil in the i/c pipe is a sign of a leaky turbo seal. It could be a long time before you actually see the telltale sign of smoke out the exhaust tho. If it's running / boosting fine, I wouldn't worry about a little oil residue. It's a natural progression of things going from new to worn out.

I have a question on, the comment bout the oil seal goin out. Which one would be going out, is the out let or the inlet, if it is the inlet, then do you have to change out the entire oil inlet tube or just the eye bolt. Let me know wats up

The seals per-se on turbos that I've taken apart, that cause oil to leak into the intake or exhaust, aren't really seals. What creates the internal oil seal is the precision fit between the turbine shaft and the bearings that it rides in. A brand new turbo will weep a little oil past the bearings. As the turbo wears, the clearance between the bearings and the shaft increases, allowing more oil to leak. Hence, the natural progression of things.
The newer ball bearing turbos might have some newer types of seals, but there aren't too many seal materials that can withstand the temperatures inside a turbocharger.
A leaking oil line to the turbo will cause an external oil leak and not be the cause of oil in the intake or exhaust tracts.

Um, no. Catch cans are designed for the elimination of the PCV system, not to catch oil from a leaking turbo. If your turbos are leaking that much, then it's time to replace them.

Nothing new on the Z....home computer took a crap, so I bought a laptop and the Conzult program from Z1.....haven't even had time to hook it up. I've been swamped at work and the 'honey-do' list around the house. PLus it's been hotter than f*ck up here. It hit 117 degrees last week....not exactly my kind of Z weather.
