ok so i went to test drive a zx and im buying it tomorrow but it has some flowmaster 40s on it with no tips and the its loud in the car when accelerating what can i do to make it quieter?

 

i think the you can put the stock exhaust back on

 

Unwanted loud exhausts... replace them w/ quiet ones.

 

... it's a sports car and you want to quiet down the exhaust? Strange...

Get rid of the Flowmaster mufflers and put some resonators on it. Better yet, do some heavy searching and find a JWT Genie exhaust in the corner of some abandoned garage...
