ok so i just bought a 1994 300zx and it has a problem. i can start the car but it wont stay on.. and it wont go over 3000rpm either, i already changed the MAF sensor and fuel filter too im not really sure what else it would be, if any1 has suggestions that could help thanks

 

Run ECU codes, check fuel pressure.

 

do you think it could be a clogged up or bad fuel pump? because i have to press on the gas pedal if i want the car to keep running
i also took it to a nissan dealer but they said that they couldnt really work on it because it has alot of after market parts im really hoping its nothing Big(expensive)

 

if your check engine light is on, Get the codes and you should find the root of the problem. sounds to me you might have a knock sensor and a TPS sensor problem. But i dont know. If you dont have a check engine light on, you could have a boost/vacuum leak.
