Re: Dual POP-charger
Not necessary...first thing you'll learn is that you can't make an NA fast without nitrous oxide. If you bought it to go fast, you should sell it and get a TT. If you're content with the car and want to upgrade anyway, the best things on the NA are an intake, cat-back exhaust, and possibly a pulley. Don't waste your money though...just not worth it!

Re: Dual POP-charger
Hmm I don't agree with Only1z, the NA is still fast but its all relative. Ya I won't get 650HP out of my NA but it also doesn't cost me $4000 the replace turbos either. I can still push 325 -350HP from my car without the N2O from what I have read and to me that still makes for a pretty fast car that looks awsome!
I put the K&N filter charger on my NA and it made quite a bit of differnence. I am still not sure what a pop charger is exactly since I have yet to see someone really explain the technicals on it.

I don't believe you are going to need a dual-pop charger for a n/a car. The amount of air you need is directly dependent on the fuel system capabilities of "your"setup. If you want more hp, I suggest researching the upgrades you plan on doing first. I know that when you upgrade the computer, the programming is done specifically for your injectors, intake, etc. Good luck!

UZTV has been seeing too much t.v. You will NOT get 325 hp out of an NA without nitrous. I'm sorry, but this is from many Z'ers experiences over the past 5 years I've been in the Z community. You will not make an NA fast without nitrous.

Re: Dual POP-charger
Again man you missed the point, are you building a daily driver that doesn't cost you your left nut? To me a fast car doesn't have to be a 10sec one, thats not a daily driver and if you are using it for one you must have money to burn. What I said was the NA is still a fast car in its own and you saying the NA wil never be fast sounds like you have a little Cranium swelling from those turbos.

Re: Dual POP-charger
Sorry, buddy...you are the one misunderstanding. "Fast" is a relative term, is it not? What one person may think is fast, another may not. Fact is, you threw out something as fact that was FULLY incorrect. And I corrected it. An NA CANNOT make 325 hp without nitrous oxide. It is not possible! You don't want to mislead people into thinking you can make a car faster than you can. Also, remember one thing. The turbo option when the car was new was only a $3K option. That is not giving up your left nut even when it was new. If you're going to buy an NA for $8K and put $3K into it to get 250 hp, you may as well have bought a TT for $11K and still be faster. This is the "black hole" that NA'ers talk about and have talked about for 5+ years on twinturbo.net. I'm fully insulted by what you said because you are attacking me personally and you don't know me. I'm sorry you got salty with what I said, but facts are facts. And that's all I've stated here and above. Your comments are the reasons that car forums go to the crapper. You are putting words in my mouth that I never said. I never said anything about a 10 second car. Did I? An NA will never be as fast as a TT. Facts are facts. And I never said anything about an NA not being a good daily driver. Let's face it...it's still a Z. You are pulling this turbo crap on the wrong guy. I'm a very well respected member on all other Z forums and I think I bring good experience to this board. Believe me...I know what I'm talking about. I don't know who you are, but it sounds like you haven't been in the Z community very long. Please show more respect.

Isn't that what I just said? Fast is a relative term read my post again if you need to, the last one and the first on thats what I have been saying all along!
I never stated that as FACT I said "FROM WHAT I HAVE READ" read it again. Anyway this conversation is going nowhere so I will go my way and you can go yours.

I only want good info spread so people all are on the right path. I ask nothing more. That hp rating was GROSSLY overstated. I just wanted to correct it. That's it. No hard feelings. It's okay to be wrong, but if you're really not sure about an answer or topic, you shouldn't answer. That's a good rule of thumb.

Re: Dual POP-charger
Only1Z is right. i've seen it all the time, where people want to make their NA as fast as a TT. the big daddy of them all is people that buy an NA and want to do a 'tt conversion'. or buy an automatic and want to do a 'manual tranny install'. the fact is, buy what you want in the first place. NA will never be a TT, and that's all there is to it.
however, if you put an NA rear end on a TT, you will have one quick *** TT. hehe.
