apexi power charger or jwt pop charger?

you may not "need" but why have to buy the same part twice? plus i thought "its proven to create more horsepower over any other intake out there for the Z" or some poop like that. but w/e im just repeating things like a parrot.

What the hell are you talking about? Buy the same part twice??? Are you aware that the JWT dual pop is two single pop chargers with a tube that simulates a MAF and two pipes to replace the T-pipe? So you can buy a single pop to start with, then, when the dual pop will actually DO some benefit, you buy the kit without the second filter (yes, they do sell it like that)...
"Includes Dual Pop Kit, One Pop Charger, and Eprom Chip."
http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.p...024.14.226.254
Besides, when you do dual pop, YOU ALSO NEED AN AFTERMARKET ECU TO INSTALL THAT EPROM.
Please, don't give advice when you don't know what you're talking about. Misinformation when it comes to the 300ZX is very dangerous. If this guy had taken your advice and simply bought a dual pop kit for his car without a socketed ECU, he'd have no way to install the Eprom. And if he did do it properly, he'd spend over $700 and get no horsepower gains AT ALL over the $90 single pop, and he'd have some drivability issues due to intake turbulence.
And yes, the JWT SINGLE POP outdynoed its closest competitor (Apex-i) by 5-8rwhp on a stock Twin Turbo

see, then no probs, beside i was only saying if i had a TT i would get the dual, and i still stick to it, because if i had a TT i would also be getting fully exhaust, new ECU and injectors as close together as possible, so even when i found out i need the new ecu it wouldnt be a total loss, sorry for my ignorance on the ecu thng though, but he has an N/A so problem solved, i suppose

i know, but its still a better intake, i was only listing those because i would have the ECU to work wtih the intake, i wouldnt stop at those mods, id slow down a bit though and start working on others, like bigger turbo's, a rebuild with better internals depending on mileage. i dont even know why im defending this though it really doesnt matter anymore, its what could or would not what is and yeah, lets stop now, is this treatment all because i sold my Z? lol

The JWT flows better as the filter isn't as thick as the APEXi, so in terms yes the JWT makes more power, also though the APEXi filter will trap more dirt, if you live in a really dirty area such as the desert or something you might want ot think about the APEXi.

The reason I think the JWT flows more (Based on running leaner) is because the JWT filter for the Z has significantly more surface area then the apex as well as a much larger
velocity stack on the JWT.
