coolant overflow

I just replaced my injectors with 555s and replaced my ecu with an upgraded unit. After the plennum pull and in stall and several hose replacements I finally got the engine running good. Although I am now having a cooling problem. I took my z out for a testrun and when I turned the key off afterwords coolant started spilling out onto the ground in front of the driverside wheel and engine was hot. I replaced my radiator cap and am about to replace my thermostat, but these were not a problem before the pull. Any Guesses?

did the gauge go up? did you top the coolant off after your plenum pull? the problem is likely just that you put too much coolant back in. the system is designed to dump off excess if there is too much of it.

I did add a little because the engine was getting hot while idleing in the garage. the level in the coolant tank is ok. I originallt thought it may have been too much when it spilled out the first time. but after it did it again wasnt sure.the guage was a little over half way up but the engine was hot and I could here a gurgling sound from the engine.
