Car wont crank/start!

So my previous problem was that my#5 cyl was not getting any injector signal from the ecu so i got a new efi harness then a new ECU (whole unit)

Now it seems to run smoothly. I cranked it up about 5 times. Started right up. Drove it for a few miles then got back home. Turned it off. two hours later i try to start it again and I get nothing. NO Fuel Pump Priming or Crank, just the clicking of the starter relay.

So here is what i tried:
-Starter relay bypass
-Checked fuses all where good but the ENG CONT (i replaced it)
-Checked battery terminals
-Checked starter wiring
-Bypassed Clutch Switch

I have had my car not start on the first try a few times about a month ago(last time i drove it), what i usually do is kick in the clutch a few times and it would start up. But now i get nothing.

Man this car is finally making me think about giving up on it !

... did you try jumping it?

It is also possible that the starter itself is dead... AutoZone and places of that sort test for free.

I had this same problem on my 92, the problem was the clutch safety switch. If you put the car in nuetral, with the e-brake on of course, and feel along the back of the clutch pedal, there is a plate I believe with a switch mounted to it that is triggered when the clutch is fully depressed, allowning the car to start. I just pushed the switch in a couple of times with my finger while trying to start the car and havn't had the problem since. Hope this is your problem to, as it's an easy fix.

Sorry didn't see that you had bypassed the clutch switch. Bummer! I was hoping it would be as easy for you as it was for me.

check your fuel pump relay under the driver kick panel... one time, some how, mine came disconnected and left me stranded at an adult novelty store. the girl's dad i was with had to come pick us up... =) He was really nice and cool though, he came back the next day and helped me diagnose it. Realize I wasn't getting fuel and I checked it and bam, it was disconnected some how... crazy.

Considering this guy never posted back after I said to jump it, I'm guessing he realized the battery was simply dead.
