Brake Light Does Not Light Up When Braking

They light up when I turn on my headlights, but not when i brake. I checked the fuse but all i found was a fuse labeled "Brake Lamp", this ones fine. How can I fix this? Thanks

its a possibility either you have a bad brake light sensor or maybe just a bad connection/blown fuze. the brake lamp sensor is located on the brake pedal bracket. brake lights are different than running lights. turnning on your headlights shouldnt affect the brake lights. check your brake lamp sensor, and fuses, then post again.

It's most likely a short. Probably not from where your headlights go on at, but where your taillights are. I'd check the wiring in the back.

if this was on an s30 i'd be able to tell you.... i guess i'm an expert on that anyway, like what was previously said, check the brake switch, all plugs at the rear harness, and also check under the dash and see if all connectors are plugged in. otherwise you'll be going through the whole car with a continuity meter.. my $.02

If you haven't done so already, you need to check into your taillight control module, it's the little green thingy hanging with wiring in the trunk, on the driver's side down by your headlight aimers.
