bad speedo, engine light, steering, vss?

bad speedo, engine light, steering, vss?
I just bought my 1993 300zx two days ago and worked fine, then yesterday the speedo stopped working and the engine light came on. also the steering got real tough. I bought a new vss online so I hope im on the right track but can not get the old one out. Ive pulled, tugged, nothing
