Lower compression

many turbo engines are designed with a lower base compression, since they will be force fed air, you can design in a bit more durability with a lower compression. Naturally Aspirated (NA) cars usually run a higher compression, so if you use a turbo short block, depending on the pistons and heads you might loose some power with a drop in compression. You might need to use an engine calculator with all your specifics to gestimate your output.
