1990 Twin Turbo Injectors

My Z has been running like $h#t for the last 2 months. It seemed like one cylinder wasn't firing. I changed all the plugs and confirmed that all coil packs are firing. I hooked my Z up to Conzult and the culprit is the #1 cyliner. I bought an injector from Z1 to swap out. Does anyone know of any useful step by step guides with pics? I searched on here but couldn't really find anything other than the ohms need to be 10-14...

Yeah, send back the one injector and buy a complete set. Unless of course you want to do this again in a couple weeks.

Only one is bad. The car only has 23k on it. However, 90-93 injectors are poorly designed...

Upgrade to the pintle-less, or get used to replacing one annually. I did at least one injector every year after replacing all six in 2003... would've been cheaper for me to have just spent the couple hundred extra and got the conversion kit.

I'm looking at whole sets of fuel injectors. I'd like to eventually get bigger turbos, but I have other things more pressing right now. Could I move up to a bigger injector and still run stock turbo's?

I replaced the fuel injector and it runs with no issues. I didn't pull the plenum or grind it because it was the #1 cylinder and I could get to it. It took about 45 min.

Of course you can run larger injectors on stock turbos... you just need the right ECU program for the larger injectors.
