the guy is asking 8500.00 that seems a little high to me anyone elses thoughts

Z's are worth more than what kbb and nada rate it if you ask me. car's depreciate differently. kbb and nada just look at original price compared to condition and miles. not services how well its been taken care of and collecters value (depriciation). but they give you a good start i suppose.

 

I owned a 1970 240Z w/ 130k miles... KBB value = $9000 .... it finally sold for $3500.

Cars will only sell for as much as the buyer is willing to spend.... You must have a willing buyer to sell a car. 99% of buyers don't care what the owner "thinks" or "wishes" the car to be worth.

 

it's a 96 NA so meh.
Unless you plan on keeping it completely stock or only slight upgrades, keep looking.

Well lol my buddy is looking at the car not me.

His truck is giving out on him so he was looking to get a car before we both go off to college. He happened to be driving down the road one day and calls me and goes Ryan holly crap theres a Z for sale down the street from my work. So we went up at night to take a look at it so i could tell him a little about it. Were waiting for a time when we can meet up with the guy so we can take a closer look in the daylight lol.

and the reason why i was bringing the topic up is because i looked at the kbb and such but at the same time look online in the classifieds and such people sell TT with Ups for that same price.
