Whats it worth?
So...Say a fella had a 260z. Restoration-Project grade. (ie: Its got dents dings and scratches but no structural damage, has two fist sized holes in the passenger floorboard, Some fixable surface rust, good running engine, five-speed tranny, a clunk in the rear-end, and a wiring issue that is preventing the tail lights from working) Lets say this same fella lacked the time, tools, and garage needed to repair said 260z to its gleaming potential. Lets also say this same fella isn't liking watching said 260z getting rained/snowed on.
Now, if said fella were to decide to relinquish said 260z to a better home and care, what would be a reasonable price to ask?
(lets also assume said fella doesn't yet have pictures of said 260z to post, but will asap.)

Here she is with the old engine setup, just after I swaped in a rebuilt l28.
Heres the engine the day I got the car. I had no idea how far this thing project would go.
WHEW! I think that all of 'em.

umm no offence to the person in question but considering how the car is, i.e. some one tried to drive it under something else, and it still has that fender i would have to lowball snw up there and say an even 1k. thats considering the bulid but also consdiering the ammount of rus repair and other such mensioned and the fact theres one near by in cherry condition for like $2500 with the origonal engine and web's

Well, a ball park range was what i was needing. work is going to continue toward the repair of afore mention issues (ie: clunk, lights, and rust). Shes not up for sale yet. I just needed to know what the conditions of surrender were. Further input and/or criticism is always welcome.

fix all the holes and rust and maybe re-do those seats with something that dont look like lil miss muffets drapes lol besides that with the current condition it SEEMs to be a pretty clean car. maybe remove that rear bodykit if there is good paint under there. and skirts cause the S30 doesnt need that *****! just the front fix that fender match the paint and you got yourself a good re-sale value, youll prolly spend about 500-800 on the formentioned and be able to sell the car for more like 5 grand or maybe even more. who knows.

I was looking at removing the body kit anyway. I like the way these cars look w/o it. and even if i don't leave it off for good, i'd atleast like to redo the edges. looks like somebody took a calking gun and siliconed it to the car.

I think they used liquid nails to attach the kit. Goo gone wont work. When I took the front off, I had to use a metal gasket scraper. That **** is really on there good!
If you do end up removing the kit Jody, would you consider giving it to me?
