what does this go to???
this part is in the trunk on the top left side what is it and what does it control? my battery is always dying and i think this may be the problem.
i did remove the radio and speakers cause they were blown and took the head unit out cause there is no need for it without speakers. all could be the reason for the battery dying.
dont care so much about the battery just really would like to know what this part is
pic of part is here

if you would really like answers that would help you and avoid flames give the following info when you post: year of car, n/a or turbo engine, stick or slushbox, digital or analog dash. Most of us can tell by the year what model you have ie 85T is a turbo z31. Z cars come in many flavors and they are all different. example 84,85,86 Z31's pretty comparable. there were changes in 87,88,89. in addition 300ZX can refer to two completly different cars the Z31 and the Z32. No mindreaders here the more info you can post the more likely you get a cogent useful answer. The cars with L engine (straight six) changed almost yearly from their introduction. A 240Z and and a 280Z have similarities but they can also have wide variance.
hard to guess when you don't even know what car you are talking about. If talking about and s130 might be Bichin Betty. Otherwise after market alarm?????

its a 92 300zx n/a and i was told on another post that its for cell phones or a security system idk either way im gonna remove it from my car. i just want to know if this could be the reason my battery continues to get drained

do a battery drain check. remove the positive lead. use some jumpers and a 12v bulb to see if the drain is enough to light the bulb. if not then use a vom on the amp setting. if you see a drain start pulling fuses or suspect equipment.
