um...no.

if i wanted 1950's pushrod technology in my car i woulda bought a camaro or something equally american.

I like my NISSAN the way it is and if i decide to improve it it'll be with a NISSAN motor.

Ok it may be 1950's pushrod technology, but it will get you more bang for the buck. Don't mean to **** anybody off. For the 2+2 NA guys to by pass the TURBO and MOD junkies with out going broke. I just think starting out at 345hp is a hole lot better. Or better yet an LS6, will get you 405HP ok. The car will still be a nissan at heart.

I would drop an ls1 in my nissan any day. Funny thing....i was talking with couple car buddies of mine. One owns a camaro with a LS1. He told me i could drop in a LS1. i didnt belive him. This is the second time this week someone has mentioned switching a LS1 in and i actually LOVE the idea. You can supercharge the ls1 for some crazy power. I might look into this. But **** i would still get the TT any day too.

i dont have a problem with sticking a v8 in a 240z, but for some reason it just doesnt seem right for the z32. although that axe power one with the vq45tt is pretty sick, but it had to stick out the hood, and i dont care for that.

When I put a 327 chevy in my datsun pickup (circa 1977) I had a friend that put a 350 chevy in his 260z. They both came out really nice. for the $$$$ per h.p. you can't beat a small block chevy no matter what you put it in. A mildly rebuilt, low $, s.b.c. is good for over 400 h.p. Add a little s/c boost and you can be into the 500 h.p. range

I like this engine GM Goodwrench is selling, the RamJet 350. They advertise that you only have to add 12v power and fuel and it's ready to run. Kinda like plug-n-play. 350 fuel injected h.p. The last that I checked, they're priced around $4k for a complete motor almost ready to fire up.

(6th one down) I see where you can now just buy the FI/manifold set-up by itself.

One of the next toys that I buy, whatever it is, will prolly get one of these with maybe a little s/c.

2 cents
