Heres a general idea of cost for a swap.

more sense you need a trans and driveshaft, with a few other manual parts.

lol Yes it is. and its a pain to do it right w/o that much money, if not impossible. So yes find yourself a nice good manual TT.

lol that TT use to be an auto N/A as well but someone before me halfassed that swap so badly the motor blew. But maintenance...eh the basics are easy, the 60 K is a bit annoying, and changing the turbos requires and engine pull.

And I really suggest you don't start with a TT if your gonna learn to drive a stick, get something smaller and not likely to send you flying thought a wall at mach 1 lol

2+2 Twin Turbo's are nice, i prefer them over the 2 seaters myself. i would just save up and do that.

It sounds like you have no real emotional attachment to your current Z, so don't bother with a swap. A swap is only worth it if you want to keep your current car, but have to have the extra oomph that the turbos offer.

Agreed.

It would be cheaper in the long run to just get a TT. I also kind of feel like if you need to find a manual for the Z and ask how easy the maintenance is to do on it youre probably not mechanically ready for the challenge the swap will bring. The z32 is one of the hardest cars to work on.
