I'm a total idiot when it comes to electronics so yeah. I'll take it to get checked out to a specialist and im goign to get the stereo removed. i'll buy a good one later.

Since electronics aren't your thing, then I'll ask this question...Do you know how to tell when a fuse has blown?

so back to teh subject. I hit 110+ on my NA the other day. pretty cool. I raced my cousin's honda Civic DX.
Me: stock
Him: Vtec heads. Intake. full 2.5 inch pipe all teh way back on a Apexi N1 muffler. and light weight interior. I beat him. Just bearly.

is this good for a 90 NA reving upto 6000 RPMS with bad grounding and a short circuit some where???

Considering that an electrical short can cause a fire and burn up your car,....yes, it's bad. I thought you were also having problems with it leaking coolant and overheating. Did you get those fixed?

LOL :roflmao: no guy's the coolant in fixed. no more leaky leaky. as for the short it was a fusible link. I also replaced that. so now she's back and hauling strong. Im going to reace him again as soon as the weather is dry again. so this is where 91tt's signature applies. "If it's upside down and burning... U went too fast."

I ckecked out your car domain. Under major mods, you have listed "port and pollish, turbo." What were you trying to say there?

Dyno slips?..Port & Polish is a rather major upgrade, and probably wouldn't be necessary unless you had helza upgrades. But anyway, that is pretty dam cool if you have it done. Closest place that even does it is a good 4 hours away from here..

I don't think that's what he meant. He says he has 354HP, but only lists intake and exhaust. I know he has a chip because he posted it somewhere. Kid's still in high school, so a turbo is a major :bling: mod, so I'm thinkin' not.

With my street legal Z the best it's run the 1/4 is 9.79@157.5 and the 1/8 in 6.311@111.59. The best top end I've run with it is 175+MPH but run out of room and the road was getting alittle rough.
My race only is alot faster.
Before anyone wants to call me out I suggest you go over to Automotiveforums.com and log onto Past Z's and ask if anyone knows Zgringo. I don't like to toot my own horn. If you put up with me long enough you'll find out enough about me.

Tell us about that car that ran the 9.79. Not only the engine mods, but the suspension setup also. What rubber were you using?

It's easer to let you go to the site that has the times posted and read it. I'm the 3rd one from the top, (Albert) but it's a old post and hasn't been up dated. I ran the 9.79 against a Vette and changed my boost and added 100HP more spray, other than that everything is the same as in the post.

Sweet. Supercharger. We've discussed bolting a supercharger to the Z32, but hadn't really heard of anyone who had any luck with it. How much boost do you run on the street with pump gas?

There's alot more to it than just bolting a supercharger on it. I also run spray with it. The last time I ran #28 boost and 250 shot second stage spray and went 9.79 but melted my electrodes on the spark plugs. I don't run a intercooler but use water/alky. More than enough cooling but need to go back and redue my program in the computer.
