a wide spark plug gap can cause hard cold starting, misfires during rich or lean fuel conditions, and reduction of upper rpm range, and will reduce its lifespan. to keep a good spark within a wider rpm range you should run a narrower spark plug gap.

The NGK PFR 6b-11's come pre-gapped at .045". With the ASH ECU, they recommend you gap it to .035". Other than that, I haven't read about increasing the gap to increase fuel mileage. You could bump your timing a up a couple degrees; which would give you small gains in mileage. I wouldn't go over 17 degrees of advance. Again, with the ASH ECU, they advise 15 degress, no more, no less. You can bump the timing up on a stock Z, or virtually stock Z.

how did the Bosch work, because i wanted to install the +4's on my car just because good advertisement i guess... but i think my spark plugs are starting to wear out and need to be replaced.

The OEM NGK plugs have been proven to outperform and non-OEM cometition becuase they thread further into the head; which pushes the plug further inside the combustion chamber, thus creating more complete combustion. Stick with NGK.
