some questions ....
some questions ....
under the radiator cap, its full to the top with antifreeze, but the coolant jug next to it is bone dry. is that just for overflow, or should i have coolant in there?
also...i've had "moisture in the in cabin air filters" for a while now. how do i replace them, and where do i get the parts....?
one more thing ... i think .... do the gears on the giant cooling fan need to be lubricated at all?
thanks everybody.

The "coolant jug" that you're referring to is the overflow reservoir. It should not be bone dry. There should be a coolant & water mix in there as well. The cap to the reservoir has a dipstick on it. It's not the easiest thing to read, but you can get close enough. You can't really see the reservoir because it's located down below the driver-side headlight.
The "in cabin air filters" air filters are fairly easy to change. I did it not too long ago. Check out the link in Rizz's sig and it should take you to where you can get step-by-step instructions.
What gears are you talking about on the cooling fan? If you're talking about the fan attached to the water pump pulley, then there are no gears. So no, they don't need to be lubricated. There's also the small fan located behind the air filter. I haven't looked at it that closely to even see if there are any gears. I'd say that it couldn't hurt.

If you're talking about the fan that's located between the radiator and the engine; which is driven by the fan belt, then there aren't any gears to lubricate. What you saw are just the 'fins' on the fan clutch. Their primary purpose is likely to dissipate heat, but that's about it.
