my name is matt, going to go look at a 92 non turbo 2+2 tomorrow. it had a fuse box issue, it fried a fuse and started to burn some wires. the guy didn't think to write down where said wires go, but has stated car ran great prior to this. I would like to throw some fuses in there and see if said statement is true!

since I am at work and have no way to get the picture on here as of the moment, I'll describe it as best I can until i can post the picture.as i look at the picture, the fuses ( or relay) that burnt are the top right section, to the right of three fuses, directly above a black relay.to the right of the fuse box, is what looks like a windshield washer bottle.i see four wires - purple, white, red, green.

he says the car will not start as of this event so i suspect its a starter relay? i guess my main question is :what goes there and where do the wires go?

I want to get out of the world of rotaries and back into the world of pistons. i love my rx7 and its magical spinning triangles, but unfortunately it's a dying breed.

Welp, went and looked at it, but couldn't get it to start. any help would be appreciated. the Car itself is in very good condition.

Could you elaborate on "couldn't get it to start" for us?

Is there power to all accessories when you turn the car on?
Does the starter make any noise?
Does the starter turn the motor at all?
Does the motor sound like it wants to start?
Have you checked the ecu codes?

nothing is getting power, no accessories or anything. short of the fuses and relays, where else should I look? the windows are currently stuck down too :[

he said he went to a gas station and shut it off to fill up, then when he went to start - nothing.

on a side note, its the tan / brown interior. boo. I was praying it was going to be black. :[
