ok guys i apologize if this has been discussed before i did search the topic but came up with nothing so im not much of a mechanic but am looking foward to geting to know my z32 but why is it important to oil the air filter i recently cleaned it because it was all gunked up but i heard that i should oil it so in addition to why which kind should i use thatnks again sorry if this is redundant

 

um... ya don't oil a stock filter. Just a K&N gauze type.

hmm, i wonder what kind of filter is on my Z then...looking in my engine is like christmas, im never sure what im going to find, but so far its been good.

or get whats recomended by EVERY other member of the z community, a JWT....

Seriously, just buy a K & N recharge kit, u will be able to use it more than once.... and get a JWT, they don't come Pre-oiled but it isn't THAT expensive for the kit and it comes with oil. You oil them for it help catch more gunk (is my understanding).
