Okay so here is the problem with my car as the title says my car wont start but it does crank and me and my brother found out that if i push start it it will start but if i crank it to many times before when i do eventually start it a lot of black smoke comes out the exhuast. When it starts however it runs fine the only problem i have once its going is that when i stop at a stop sign my idle is a lil high (1,100rpms) but it was like before and it always started. Also ive found out that if i dont push start it and just wait like 3 hours i can start it with the key and its starts up perfectly or sometimes i have to push the throttle some however if i dont start it in the first crank then i have to wait another hour or so...which is the reason i push start it instead since its fast just annoying and dont always have a buddy with me to help.

I pulled the following codes from ecu: 53, 13
would these be the cause?

Any ideas would help since im stuck and starting to give up on this car :/

Pull out coil pack to check spark, then check fuel.
If no spark at all 6 cylinder replace crank angle sensor. Used around 60- 80$. Hope this help

 

O okay man ill try that but i commented on one of the 300zx Guru videos on youtube and he told me that since the car started it woudnt be the CAS or PTU since it would be any of those it woudnt start at all, but the process seems easy enough so ill take a look at it thanks
