Night of Japanese street racing. *Pics & video inside*

Here are some pics from last night. We went out to Chiba and had a good time. The video is an unedited collection from the entire night. It is 10 minutes 52 seconds long. Here is the breakdown summary:
start-2:39= Hanging out at Yokohama Bay Bridge
2:40-4:18= My high speed run on the Aqualine. I managed to hit 255 km/h (159 mph) before I stopped pushing my car. I was still accelerating quick and had a little pedal left.
4:19-10:52= Drag racing in Chiba. My car is shown from 6:47-9:09. I raced a Honda Integra *twice*, Toyota Chaser *twice*, Toyota MR-2 *twice*, and a Nissan Skyline *once*(the orange one in the pics and video at the Yokohama Bay Bridge). I won all 7 races. Not bad for my first time ever drag racing. I timed my first ever attempt at a quarter mile. I got 13.64 seconds. I'm not sure what I would've gotten after a few practice runs.

wow japanese music is annoying.
Love the right hand drive on your Z. Pretty sweet. Is it NA or TT (I had to listen to it with sound very low)? BTW you always have good vids =P

I'm not sure exactly where it is. It isn't too far from the Aqualine tunnel.

Nice vid but a little blurry at times. Do you have night vision? Nice run too. 265kmph? I may have to pack a bag and take the Z for a long run that way. May have new turbos soon so I would want to break them in. heh.

Nice vid except you raced all ***** *** cars (minus the skyline, although it looks ridiculous with that wing). I'm not going to lie, you raced cars that I beat in my NA all the time (minus the chaser), even a turbo MR2 MKII wouldn't be a challange for you, would for me though..... A fair race would of been you vs that rx-7.... I've hit 150 in my NA as well, good vid. push your car more next time

150mph in the NA, considering it's gear limited to 155mph you might not want to push it that hard, a rod or something does and you are toast.

It's funny that you said I raced cars (plural) you beat all the time but then you excluded the Chaser, Skyline, and MR2. That would only leave the Integra RSX. I didn't challenge those guys . They all challenged me. The only one I challenged was the Skyline. I was going to race the RX-7 but I started leaking oil so I never got the chance. As for the speed, it was 160 mph.

I didn't exclude the MR2, i jsut said a turbo would be a challenge, kinda imposiable almost for me to race a skyline or chaser... TT's are limited to 197.4 MPH bc of gearing, go for 170 next time.

To tell you the truth, I don't even know what a Chaser has in it. I could probably look it up but I'm too lazy. I was going to push my car to its limits but I decided against it. Maybe once I get the oil leak fixed.

against the cars you raced, you would only have to go to like 1/4th power to beat them....

It had all the same engines as the Supra through the years up to the 1JZ-GTE. It never actually got the 2JZ though. But that 'big' car was actually lighter than the Supra was

I know the Chaser was pulling it's own. I still stomped the crap out of it but he managed to win a few of his own out there.

You'd be surprised if you came out here to the west coast, I think I've seen at least 3 driving around here in Reno alone... (and yes, street racing).....they're spreading and heading your way

Dude we need to get a collection going and buy you a new video camera and camera mount....be the official ZDRIVER reported from Japan.

Where is that...I saw a video from Grip that called a place similar to that something like Dikyokufuku...or something. I cant remember honestly.

I wish there was something even remotely as awesome to hango out at here in Ga. Besides the cars..the roads and scenery is awesome over there.
