I would go, but my tranny is whining. So im going to be taking it to the dealership. So if they give me a new tranny or something I wont be racing for while. Until that sucker is broken in.

Well, I have the Vette at my house...and I only live 10min. from the speedway...and that still gives me time to go to the gym after work. Count me in.

The girlfriend may be going shopping after work, so there is a good chance I will be there in the Vette. I am going to the gym and then I have to go home and shower but I think I can still make it on time.

Pretty eventful night. I ran a 12.510 @113.86 w/ 2.018 60 ft., I got to race a C6Z06 and won, and Paul lost his rear end shifting into 2nd

New best for me... Best ET: 14.338@98.43. Best mph: 14.370@99.38.

Maybe with a set of DR's I can break 100 mph. I think I'll probably need the clutch/flyweel and some HFC's if I'm gonna break into the 13's N/A.

That sucks for Paul...the rear end is an odd place to break on this car.

I've seen a couple of threads about the bolt at the top of the diff cover breaking. They say that it has something to do with strange stresses during burnouts.

It was meant to be in my opinion. Earlier that night he was saying he wanted a better LSD and maybe different gearing......well, he's got it now

What size and how much?

BTW, Paul's car sounded like there was something wrong with it all night. Is that just the way the Vortech sounds on the Z or was it his rear going out? Usually centrifigul S/C's have a high-pitched whine. His car sounded like something was grinding.
