http://www.nv350z.com/streetwars.htm

PRE-MEET AT POPPAS BAR & GRILL off of Craig Rd. just west of I-15. 6:30pm, leave for races at 7:15pm.

I will probably make this one with the G35. Time to see what a Stillen Stage 2 5AT G35 can do at this elevation lol. I am hoping for 14.0, we shall see...

LOL, I will put my money on you Ty. If the VB upgrade is done, will you be turning up the boost?

I don't have the nifty boost **** like you do. Gotta talk to the VRT guys about that. Probably have to run back down to SD to get it retuned. Definitely won't be done before next Wednesday. Plus I only ran a crappy 13.9 at the last street wars.

Mine sits right under the air filter. Its not secured to anything, they just lay it in there because when they dyno tune it, the pull it out and its got wire thats long enough to bring inside the car.

Oh yeah, I'm ready. Got my rear camber ready to go, so now I'll use MOST of the tread.
Side note: just killed an old Mach2 from a roll. Wasn't even close. It was a nice one, too. Must have had 335's on the back.

Maybe they only leave it on the built motor cars so we can turn it up & down?

Talked to Michael and that's exactly wht they do. He said that I could have one if I promised to be careful with it though.

Anyone want to do a reaction challenge tonight?

G/Z war BABY! We need to provoke Rob, he is trying to get out of this one!

My wife, 2 kids, and inlaws are coming to spectate. 2 questions...how much for them to get in, and can I have someone sitting shotgun? Got to show the wife the power.

I thoght Rob was the most excited out of all of us for tonight? General admission is $10, but the kids may be cheaper or even free. I don't think there are passengers for this event, but ther are on the Midnight Mayhem events. If they allow it tonight, your wife will have to pay $20 instead of $10.

I think this Z/G war is a little unfair lol. Ty has a fighting chance for sure especially now that he has his VB upgrade, but my modest little Stillen 5AT G will be like a one legged man in an *** kicking contest.

Well Rob has a 3 legged dog and it can still haul ***, so I guess it depends on the driver

Mother-in-law is cooking (which home cooked meals are a godsend to me) so I will not be meeting up before we go.

I didn't exactly have a good showing last time out so I'm not really expecting that much of an improvement since my boost is still the same. Need more boost.

With better reaction times come better 60' times. To get a good RT, you need a good launch and same goes for 60' times. Spinning tires ruins your RT just as much as your 60'. I have gotten my best E.T.s when trying to beat Ty at the RT challenge. Besides, all you have to lose is $10 . Who knows, you could have that one good RT that wins you $30 which pays for your night! It just adds a little more fun to the night after doing the same 1/4 mile starts over and over again starts to get boring.

What's the point of drag racing without reaction times? It's a lot of fun, and it doesn't take too long to get the hang of it.

Sounds good, I'm in. So reaction time starts when the light turns green correct, not when you cross the line.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 12:38 AM.
