One Small turbo, and One large turbo.

The small one spools up first, giving you boost even at low RPM, and then the larger turbo spools up, delivering rape at high RPMs.

Wait... you weren't joking?

I shall be nice here (I doubt ZLover will be as nice).

With such a n00b question of "how do I get 700hp", maybe start by taking some basic automotive classes to understand how motors function. Then work your way up to hands on repairs. Once you've got a basic understanding of engines, then you can broaden the horizons to light modifications, then to heavier mods.

Here's some good reads:

ok, the z32, as a v formation engine, does not use nonidentical turbos.... it uses the same one on each side and single turbo set ups are pretty much generally accepted as inferior with some exceptions for special purposes as i understand it.

kptclutchz, i don't know you well enough to know if you are joking or not... please clear this up and maybe don't put such convincing posts with bad info up...

the vg30dett has been built to 1400 hp. we thought it was humor because that's just such a basic question that people would usually search for. what you need to do is start searching the forums and read about turbo builds. go into the z32 section and search things like "aftermarket turbos", "intercoolers", "best ECU". just simple things and read what's already been asked. as much as we like to help on here, you just won't find anyone generous enough to really type out the extremely extensive amount of knowledge to actually do a turbo build on here. and believe me, there is more to it than you can even comprehend.

what i will recommend to you is to just take your time and start getting to know your car by doing things like regular maintenance and repairs. when you start upgrading, you can ruin your car really quick by doing it improperly. so just start with the basics. i know you're going to say "i'm no noob" or something like that, which may be, but the z32 is a very unique beast requiring a very specific knowledge base.
