Looking forward to being a new member of the family

Hello to all. Well I've been checking out the site for a few months now, learning, searching and reading everything there's is to know about the Z32. I am currently saving up to buy my first 300ZX. I've driven a few and I've fallen in love. After extensive research in this forum and the 300ZXclub, I have decided what kind of Z I want. COLOR: White, Red, Blue or Silver and definetively with a black interior.YEAR: 91 and up, I don't like the fact that the 90's don't come with an airbag.MODEL: I was leaning towards the 2+2 but after viewing the two, I love the shorter look of the coupe. ENGINE: Although I would love to have a TT, there's not many available and I might run the risk of the turbos failing, due to mileage and poor maintenance by previous owners. N/A will do just fine. TRANNY: 5 speed. Initially I was looking for an auto, but I realize that in order to enjoy a true sports car, you must drive a stick. Well, that about sums it up. I'm in the market for a Z, I'm looking to get approved for a loan but my credit is not that great after a BK. I'm gonna save up at least 4K and see where I go from there. In the meantime I will just keep on surfing the forum for new info to become more familiarized with the Z. If any of you wanna add or give me any suggestions, feel free to do so.

I'm definetively getting picky the more I know about the car. I went to this dealer that had a Z in inmaculate condition. A customer had traded it for a new car. It was a '92 2+2, Red/Blk, 96K selling for $8000. The engine idle so smooth and the interior looked like it was 3 years old. Of course I was not approved for a loan and the car was sold. The good thing is that I've used that car as the model for what I want. I went to other dealers afterwards and some of the cars just looked and sounded like crap compared to that one. They were even being sold for the same and some for more. With patiente I will come accross the right one.

Just out of curiosity... Isn't the term "littlejuanito" a little redundant redundant?

Be picky.
Take your time.
Try to find a personal car, not a dealer.

I found a 1995 300zx TT with 27k miles from a 55 year old lady

yep...3900 for mine with 140k wanted 5200 originally...nothin was changed on that car though so i ended up replacing clutch flywheel trans seal all new shocks tune up right away..oil chagnes were maintianed and the 60k seemed to be in tact and up to date all belts seemed brand new...but i feel like ive frown out of the NA and am tryin to get into a TT....that or ive kinda started to like 93 mr2 turbo's lol...that MR i hear is hard to get used to in handling though , but great traction. i still want a TT z most of all, but...the Z might not be a very collegy car.im still gonna try though. any who sorry about the off topicness, sum is if you have patience youll find your baby for the right price.

LOL!! A 55y/o lady driving a TT? That's crazy! Older people do tend to take more care of their cars, higher income is mainly the reason. I will shop around, and hopefully during summertime I'll try for a loan for a private party purchase.
