injector question
injector question
91 300sx 2+2 na auto 100,000 miles.
In my 91 will 96 injectors fit in my engine. Or are they different.
My injectors need replacing due to the previous owner running ethanol in it.
Ive read that 96 injectors can handle the ethanol. Even though I don't plan to run ethanol In it ever again. Thx
On my phone the tech forum won't load.

Thanks for getting back to me nismo,
One questions.
in that link i found this:
"It's also quite UNcommon to install high-flow injectors in NAs...Not to say it's never happened, but it's very rare (and not a great idea to begin with)."
Could u elaborate for me why this isnt a good idea? I would like to install higher cc injectors.
Thanks

Yes.
Side note, not to be a jerk but these are UBER basic questions that have been asked and answered many times. Please feel free to search this site and Google.
The stock efi isn't "tunable". You can't (shouldn't) just add bigger injectors without telling the ecu to adjust the A/F ratio due to more fuel.
So you can tune. Google.

Are you using the "Mobile Version" of the website? That's usually what causes the viewing problem. It was designed back in the "Blackberry" days for simplistic browsers. In fact, it's probably time to can the mobile version (note to self).
Next time, start a fresh ZDriver home page and do not use the mobile version. I can access everything fine on my phone using the Dolphin browser.

Megasquirt
Megasquirt is a Tunable / customizable ECU, with it you can add almost any upgraded part and tune it to work properly. heres a link to one of the more popular sites, you can buy fully assembled units or build your own from a Kit as many have done. If you want to "Tune" your engine, here is where you start.
