I was wondering if anyone had any simple tricks to changing this harness....It doen't look too bad untill it drops behind the motor . Or is it going to be h#ll

 

Here is a good picture of the layout, its fairly accurate for locations. I've not tried changint the whole thing myself, but I have been rebuilding it slowly (EG new wires/connectors replacing old ones), so far I havent ran into a whole lot of problems that cant be solved with a good ol 12" component grabber from my computer repair toolkit
