gosh darn clutch

My clutch is giving me problems recently. Everytime I go to start her up after it has been sitting for a while (generally overnight), there is very little pressure in the clutch. However after driving around for a few minutes it regains some of the pressure. I thought I might have had a leak somewhere in the system. (Btw, I just replaced both the master and the slave cylinders at the same time, no more than a year ago due to roughly the same problem.) I put the car on a lift, and sure enough the slave looks dry as a bone, looks just as good as the day I put it in. All the lines that I could follow up looked dry as well. Also no evidence of leaks from the Master cyl. I checked the fluid level in the master, and I am not quite sure if it is going down. If it is, it is a very small amount. But again, I'm not sure. I might just get a new slave from NAPA and install it to see if it fixes the problem, seeing as how they are only about 30 bucks. What do you guys think?? Thanks

Greg

coudl just be bubbles if it wasnt bled well, especially with the way the weather is chanigng in your area (NY) im assuming its starting to get cold up there the hydraulics in your car will start to act different.

Yea i thought some air might be the case, so I did bleed it a bit over the weekend, from the top corner bleed. Maybe I should try it again, or bleed from somewhere else?

Sounds like your brake fluid is water logged, you might want to drain it and put in new fluid.
