Desperate. Please help me my z32 died

90 300ZX 2+2 N/A

CANT BELIEVE MY BABY DIED ON ME AT 40MPH WHEN THE LOWEST I DRIVE IT IS 80MPH. I FIRST THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THE GAS PUMP OR THE FILTER BECAUSE I NEVER CHANGED IT OR EVEN A FUSE. MY MECHANICS AND I TOOK IT ALL APART AND FOUND THAT THE TIMING BELT TENSIONER BOLT BROKE SO REPLACED THE TIMING AUTO TENSIONER, ALL THE BEARINGS GOT A NEW TIMING BELT ALL THE POINTS MATCHED, NEW WATER PUMP, GASKETS AND SEALS AND BELTS. WHEN WE PUT EVERYTHING BACK, IT WONT START. WHEN IT DIED I WAS EXITING THE HWY AND JUST TURNED OFF DONT HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE. I'LL APRECIATE SOME HELP

Its really hard to read when you type in all caps....

Did your mechanic ever pull the heads? or the valve covers for that matter because if the timing belt broke its more then likely smashed up the valves.

Do a compression test on it. if by some miracle it isn't the valves or pistons then I would start looking to make sure your getting spark and fuel

timing belt broke= bent valves. My friend's accord had this happen and the car ran after replacing the belt but not very well. Do a compression check.
