Zfan, I am in the same boat as you, However, I have owned a N/A 300 previously. I have been looking for a TT for over 6 months, looking every day on CL, Ebay, local ads, and just haven't found the one for me yet. Be patient, and you will be rewarded. I have a slight advantage, a friend of mine owns www.simtecmotorsports.com and has worked on Z's for a LONG time, and I'm also less than 15 miles from SpecialtyZ. If I ever have a problem..it's not going to be such a huge deal. But the moral of this absurd (lol) post, is just be patient, and DON'T buy the first TT you see, unless you get lucky and it is exactly what you are looking for. GOOD LUCK!

You're not kidding, I am quite lucky in my placement. LOL as an UPDATE I just got a 1990 TT shell, by trading a guy some home theater speakers I can't use. So.. I got the car for FREE... BUT.. the downside.. NO motor NO tranny. It's okay, I can prep the engine bay for the color change (I HATE red cars) going to be black, AND do a Hicas removal. It's a project car, and will cost some decent coin to get road worthy, but the BODY AND INTERIOR are SOLID.. 1 tear in DS seat, 1 DING on the body.. it's a great deal..LOL

HICAS removal is dumb. Color changes are, too... especially from Aztec Red. Such a great color.

Furthermore, when people watch Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Barbossa says "this isn't just any gold... it's AZTEC GOLD," you can say things like "big deal... my car is AZTEC RED."

But of course, Diamond Black Pearl (paint code 732) has similar puns...

Hopefully sapphire blue, rather than azure blue... pastels don't work on the Z32.

Yes! It is Sapphire Blue! Tough find for me in this area though. Most around here are faded white
