my buddy who i work with insists that a 1993 300zx tt engine will fit in his 1993 infinity j30t engine bay, the question is, can it fit, and are there pre-manufactured engine mounts to do this job???? any info would be appreciated, im interested to find out myself.

 

I'm pretty sure the J30 actually comes with a NA VG already.

 

might have probs fitting the turbos in, but it's the same basic platform.

 

so i could use the same engine mounts and maybe have to cut a little out to fit for the air intake and twin turbos?

 

Yeah, that car came with a VG30DE anyway's. The only thing you'll have any issue with is the spare plumbing and where to stuff the IC's. It's a slightly larger engine bay though so it may not bee too dificult. That would be a rockin' *******' wagon though when it was done. How would you like to get smoked by an old school 4 door infiniti?
