Do all 300zx's have 4 wheel active sterring? or was it an option? did every year (1990-1996) have it?

 

Only Z32 Twin Turbo models had HICAS (HIgh Capacity Active Steering). Which was an assisted All Wheel Steering system.

I personally am not a fan of HICAS. And when I get my GTR, I am getting the HICAS Bypass kit... Expensive, but worth the $392.

 

i have a 93 na and it has the hicas light is that jsut cause the dash is the same or does it actually have it as an option how would i be able to check this

 

na, only the TT's came w/ it..... it probably has the same dash as at TT, alot of car companines do this.... its cheaper to manufacture one dash, rahter than a different dash for different models..... the other possibility is, the car could have originially been turbo, and maybe the last owner didnt have the money to put another turbo motor in it? doubt it, but hey, ya never konw..
