370z Unveiling in LA Come check it out!!!

What: Edmunds’ http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...mktid=cj260233

Inside Line and Nissan celebrate the all-new 370Z with a private coming-out party five days before its L.A. auto show world premiere. Bring a new or old Z if you have one, and come see and touch the new version with fellow enthusiasts.

When: Saturday, November 15, 2008
4:00-8:00 P.M. PST

Where: TBWA/Chiat Day
5353 Grosvenor Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90066

Cost: Admission is free and Edmunds’ Inside Line will provide food and giveaways.

Details: Edmunds’ Inside Line and Nissan are proud to announce a special roll-out of the all-new 2009 Nissan 370Z. This will be the first unveiling of the 370Z anywhere in the world. There will be three fully functioning 370Zs at the event, including two production vehicles and one test mule. And yes, you'll be able to sit in the car and poke around under the hood. Bring your new or old Z to display at the event, and spend the evening with other Z owners and enthusiasts.

Tim

that's awesome. i wish i could make it. i just noticed how the 370 goes back to the gauges up in the middle of the dash. i like it. i was just wishing that the Z32 was like that. actually i was thinking about fabbing something up to relocate them and make it look more like the s30's. but i don't like the wheels that are on that prototype. looking pretty generic to me.

The three gauges were in the middle of the dash in the 350Z as well.

Here are Nissan's newest pictures.

I have the feeling when I get back on my financial feet that'll be the car I focus on getting. Is it going to be AWD or is that blasphemous to a Z?

I hope not. Get the GTR for that. That could potentially hurt sales both directions. If not just over seas. Japan needs more RWD cars. AWD is fun, but not as fun as RWD can be. More predictable yes. haha
But, that's the fun in that? I like over steer.

Most definately, but I do live in Northern Utah and all three of my cars are RWD. I might end up going for the GTR just because of the AWD but I'll sell a Firebird. I guess I'll sell the Z32 to free up a 'slot'

Yes, just like the new Altima. I see this Z is taking on a few of the typical Nissan characteristics. Those headlights look bad in the pics. I really do not like the design on the new Maxima either but its the new Nissan "thing" to do.

However, the overall body shape is more like a 240Z. I can go for that.

It does look more like the 240Z. They need to bring back the sugar scoop headlights! The clock on the far right guage is a nice touch....very retro.

I hate the headlights. I don't know what they were thinking.

theres will never be a sugar scoop revitalization to crappy aerodynamics, but it would be neat to see them brought back with a cover on them already.
