300zx stalls/turns off when slowing down

Ok so I'm new to this forum. I used to own a g35 but sadly I was rear ended and it was totaled. Right now I am looking at a 1990 300zx NA manual trans. I took it out for a drive and noticed that the gas pedal gets stuck when its pushed all the way in and I have to give it a hard push for it to get released and that the car stalls/turns off when I slow down or stop. I asked the owner and he said that one of the throttle bodys on the vehicle is bad and he showed me how its bad. Could a bad throttle body cause the gas pedal to get stuck and cause the car to turn off when slowing down/coming to a stop? thank y'all for any information yall provide!!!

Yes

Over a year later, so hopefully it's already been fixed, but yes, a throttle body that's stuck can cause a vacuum leak when slowing because it's not fully closing, and cause the gas pedal to stick to the floor because it's not providing any tension to the throttle cable when released. this can be cheaply remedied by a can of carb cleaner or wd40, or if it's beyond cheap repair, it's not impossible to get on in good working order from a junk yard, or a dismantler.
