1991 2+2 Injectors
Hello all.
Can someone recommend a good injector for a 1991 300 2+2? I wanted to keep the car stock, but I went to an OEM site and they wanted $175 per injector. Over 1K for 6 injectors is a bit more than I care to spend.
Thanks,

Thanks for your post
I'm curious about why you want to replace all six. What do you know to be wrong with all of them - at the same time? I have replaced non-working or under-performing injectors on three or four Zs now, never more than one or two each time. Just wondering...

Buy cheap, buy twice.
You actually may want to look into spending way more. The early Z32s (like your 91) use an outdated injector design that is extremely prone to failure with today's ethanol-blended fuels (in tech terms, there is a voltage running through the injector at all times, even when the car is off, which causes oxidation when the car is not running and ethanol-blended fuel is sitting inside; the injectors rust from the inside, causing premature failure).
Your options are three:
1) Go cheap (likely re-manufactured options), and have to replace them within a couple years because they're garbage.
2) Go original stock, and have them last slightly longer than the cheaper alternatives, thanks to corn farmers.
3) Upgrade to 94+ injectors (it's not a small retrofit) and never have to touch the injectors again.

Zlover, would you have to change out the fuel rails or just ask for new injectors from a 1994+ model z? been having some stuttering from my new 1990 z especially from take off, was a decent misfire in the engine but it is clearing out after some seafoam treatment. My mechanic i've been having work on it said it seemed to be the injectors before my treatments and have since been getting much better (have a store nearby that doesn't use ethanol in their premium gas). but i would rather not have to worry about it if possible.
